  • This Cat's design is based on Maneki-neko, literally "Beckoning Cat", a common figurine in Japanese and Chinese businesses that is believed to bring luck.
    • Maneki-nekos don't have full-length tails, but Ms. Fortune has a tail.
    • Maneki-nekos are based on the Japanese Bobtail.
  • Ms. Fortune's name is a pun based on the word "misfortune".
  • Coincidentally, Ms. Fortune shares a few characteristics with Ms. Fortune from the game "Skullgirls".
    • Both are feline characters.
    • Both share the same name.
